So some clever pants put John Howard’s Integrity on ebay and it got ruled a “non-item”
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
Sucks to be Howard.

I want to send out my full solidarity to the families in LA who were brutaly set upon by the LAPD during the May Day demos in support of immigrant workers.
The Police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at families and children who couldn’t get out of the way quick enough. One elderly woman was quickly pulled over a fence by a friendly local to help her avoid being trampled. One woman was beaten because she was trying to go back to retrieve her young, and very distressed young child.
Reuters reported it like this:
Later at the city’s MacArthur Park, Los Angeles police cut a rally short after about 80 people began throwing rocks and bottles at police, according to Sgt. R. Kanzaki. Police fired rubber cartridges to disperse the crowd of 3,000 and no arrests were made, he said.
When in reality those people were trying to defend the families, women, young children and the elderly who were trying to escape fully armoured police.
Land of the free my ass.
I’ve been wanting to post this for ages but I gave this to someone without taking a photo first and I only just got round to going to her house ith a camera!
So presenting “Cross Stitch Bling”

Back

Basically this is a patch that can be attached to anything; bag, t-shirt, whatever. And I gave it in a small woven box so you can also use that as a frame and just have it as an ornament.
It took me a couple of hours. Stitching with silver thread is quite difficult ’cause it’s really stiff but it’s worth the effort ’cause it comes out all shiny. And I like shiny things!
Saw this stuck to a car in St Kilda. Quite possibly the weirdest company advert I’ve ever seen.
Sure that would’ve made some great team building in some of my previous jobs!
So I’ve been meaning to post this wee tale.
Yip, so on Saturday was hanging out behind the Safeway in Carlton opposite the Police Station and the Police were having some kind of community open day thingy. It was all pretty typical, bouncy castles, sausage sizzles and kids posing on the police motor bike.
But then the strangest thing happened. The piping band warmed up and took the stage. They started up and I thought ‘crikey this tune is familiar’ and then I realised that they were playing the Bob the Builder tune. I thought ‘eh? that’s a bit weird’ but then figured it was a family fun day so they were probably just trying to get ‘down with the kids’ so they wouldn’t think that cops were things to be afraid of (this perception always fades after the first protest…).
But then they mashed into the next tune and started to play an Eminem track! I mean,WTF??? That’s just crazy! They did this whole medley of ‘hip and cool’ music. What the hell are they on?
I spent the whole time sharing bemuzed looks with all the passers by. Glad to see all your hard earned tax payer dollars are supporting police promoting violence and drug use.
What a day to leave your video camera at home….
Yip mad props to the clever pants that made this.

I’m so hardcore that today when I was stitching, I broke the needle.
Yip, broke it.
Don’t mess with me.
Got some really interesting spam today. Was thinking of passing it on to Jim Anderton’s office.
Subject: I’d still like to get it on to my personal machine at home where it belongs.
In the car on the way over I did another balloon of nitrous.
