We bought the book The Gift of Nothing for Tara for her six month birthday (yes it’s been that long!). This is a truly gorgeous book which celebrates how special the present of our time can be for our friends and loved ones.
I really liked this book as it tells the story beautifully, and without any hint of a preachy tone. The pictures are gorgeous and the simple colour design makes it a really good book for small developing minds. The potential for using this book as a creative tool for special family time is going to be enourmous. I just can’t wait til she’s old enough to read along with me!
