The picture that inspired the second embroidery is actually from the fight about "Ungdomshuset" (The Youth House) in Copenhagen, Denmark. I don't know how well known the story is outside of Scandinavia, but the house had been used for political activism and noncommercial culture by anarchists and similar groups since the 80's. A few years ago the municipality of Copenhagen sold it to a christian sect, which led to riots last winter and in march this year the house was torn down.
