Finite

Continuing on the them of posting up my recently finished projects in reverse chronological order, this is a piece I made for the NSW Greens Fundraising Auction, which is on tonight if any Seedneysiders are up for it.

This piece is called “Finite” or “Vote Green or the Planet Gets It”.

This upcycled piece is a framed hand-made cross stitch design on vintage fabric. Made and framed with 100% second hand materials.

This upclose shot shows the detail on the fabric.

So hopefully it sells and ends up looking pretty on someone’s wall. I’m not hugely into making things for walls cause it’s not directly practical. But sometimes we just need some pretty stuff in our lives.

If anyone happens to go to this auction tonight and happens to get a photo of this on the wall, I’d love a copy…

UPDATE:  This piece sold for $100!  Yay!  If the person who bought it happens to read this, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.  And thanks for helping the Greens!
