Youth House Cross Stitch

Sorry for the lack of posts since I was introduced here, I’ve been having a bit too little time to be creative lately. But now at least the summer’s project is finished: the cross stitch embroidery of the activists from the Youth House in Copenhagen, Denmark. The picture is an excerpt of this photo.

I love that one, especially since it’s possible that I know the person in the original pic :)

    Hi,
Can I ask what program you use to make the patterns like these? I’ve been looking and having a play around with a few but they all seem quite fiddly. I can imagine that it would be the same one as was used for the ‘this is what democracy looks like’ peice?

  7. Hi, I use regular image editing programs when I make my patterns, like Photoshop or Gimp. As for the “This is what democracy looks like” piece, it’s Johanna ( http://crossyrstitches.blogspot.com/ ) who’s made that one, she could tell you what kind of software she uses. / Cross Stitch Ninja
