A while back I stumbled across a little idea as to what to do with all my little scraps of embroidery aida fabric . I’ve been embroidering little words and sticking them onto badge backs. I thought it was a mildly interesting idea and worth doing some market research on. So I took them along the the latest craft mafia market and they were a huge hit. Not only did I have ones there to sell, but I also took along all the gear to do on the spot custom badges. Needless to say I was pretty busy!
Here’s some of them:
and the backs look like this
So now I’ve taken the big step and put them up online to sell. And I’ve even put them on my new etsy store. Yes folks I have an etsy store! Still got the Mintd store though and there’s some currency issues you could be smart enough to figure out…
I’ve reached the point where I need to start earning a bit more cash so I’m getting a bit more focused on the craft stuff to sell. I’ll still be making things to amuse me and my friends, but just not as much. So if you want to help keep me afloat, feel free to buy something off me! And I’m always willing to do custom stuff. If I make something you like but wish I made it in a different colour or whatever, just get in touch.

A really good idea! And I like that people can get custom made ones too. How long does it take to make one of these?
as a proud owner of an ‘ace!’ badge i would like to offer my heartiest recommendation

Oh my god you are going to be rich
It takes about half an hour to make including drying time. And they are so much fun to make too!
