Pfft Patriarchy

This is the one you’ve all been waiting for! Yip, it’s the next cross stitch kit!

This is not exactly your Grandmas cross stitch. Well, depending on your grandma!

This traditionally-inspired cross stitch kit contains everything you need to create a beautiful piece of work, with a bit of bite.

Kit contents: pattern, instructions, needle, thread, fabric and inspiration.

It was a heap of fun making this one. I have always wanted to make a sampler. Especially after seeing Kate Westerholt’s stuff but I’ve never gotten around to it until now. And while stitching this one I truly understood how much the theme of your cross stitch affects the meditation topics you go through while stitching.

You can get your very own Fuck Patriarchy Cross Stitch Kit at Radical Rags online stores at Mintd or Etsy, or come and get one in person at the next Melbourne Craft Cartel Market, Feb 4, 5pm onwards, Section 8 Bar, Melbourne.

This is also a great Valentine’s Day present, for those of you who are a bit, y’know, anti-valentine.  One of my friends got one of these as an anti-valentine for his lady.

There’s more coming I promise.

To avoid mailing across the globe, do you think you could also offer just the pattern for sale in PDF? I would mucho-appreciate that.

    Hi Shauna
Yeah I’ve started doing that. I started the kits because I wanted to make it easier for my friends to do it, and having all the pieces there removed all their excuses. But then I started to sell them online. So yeah.. I’ve got a few designs on the go at the moment which will be kits and electronic patterns. So I’ll definitely turn this one into a pdf pattern.
    Stay tuned!
