Knit, Poo

People who know me know I get really amused by poo. Don’t ask me why. I don’t find farts anywhere near as funny. I’ve even been known to cross stitch a poo or two.

So check how cool this is

But wait there’s more. It’s full of pot pourri! How good is that?

It’s by knitter knitphomaniac. Sorry I can’t find the link to the original post. (props: Whip up).

So speaking of nice smelling things…

I have a wee product I’d like to share with you. I made these a little while ago and I’ve nearly sold them all. I might make some more, not sure yet…

So presenting, the Ninja Wardrobe Scenter!

Lavender-filled

Keep your clothes smelling nice

And protect them from pirates.

I really, like these.  They’re heaps of fun to make, although my craft room stinks of lavender.  Should I keep making these?

Unfortunately since these are full of lavender I can’t post them overseas so they’re exclusive to the Craft Cartel Market. If you really, really want one, you should be at Section 8 Bar on Monday night!

I have another similar item in the development stage at the mo, stay tuned.

    Hilarious ideas !
But I hate how lavender smells… Anyway the ninja is a great change from the usual lovely-cuty-flowery-bory-mini-cushions ;o )

Hey, just thinking… Have you ever thought about filling your knitted poo with lavender seeds ? I just keep laughing when I imagine some smelly poos hanging in a closet ! :o D

Oh they’re not my poos, but that is such a great idea! You could make them out of felt or something too if you don’t know how to knit.

I think wardrobe scenters have so much potential.

    A flower scented poo… I love that idea! :D

And the ninjas look real nice. Maybe you could make ones that people could fill themselves if you want to be able to post them overseas?

You must be psychic! I was thinking that exact same thing last night when I was trying (and failing) to sleep. But I wondered whether anyone would want to. Especially if it was a gift. It would be like ‘here’s a half made present!’ ‘oh gee thanks’

Yeah, that’s true of course… Is it possible to make it so it feels finished, apart from the lavender? It could be closed with a flap and a button or something. But I guess there’s still some assembly required before it’s complete.

maybe, but I sew the bottom closed after it’s filled with lavender. Maybe it’s a present to send to crafty people only!

I made this for a friend of mine who has exactly this kind of sense of humor.

One knitted poo with lavender, and a big sewn poo filled with wheat grains so she can microwave it to get it all nice and warm.

Oh how funny, I was just doing a search to see if my knitted poo entry came up. OUr group just made some knitted poo invitations for our opening in the local public restroom and it was suggested we put lavender in them LOL! I like this version, very nicely done.
