		<description>Thank you for sharing this.  I have thus far completely overlooked the huge waste of texiles that goes on today, it&#039;s shocking.  I darn my socks, mend my clothes, and always buy second-hand, but only out of habit and thrift - I&#039;d never really thought about why it should be a conscious choice. You have handed me my Research Hat, I shall put it on, swot up, and spread the word!  Where did you get the figures for textile waste in the UK, btw?
