Goodness time flies when you’re having fun. I moved into this site, thus becoming part of the goonanism mob in August. Today we hit 10,000 unique visitors! Hoorar!
This had quite a lot to do with the appearance of the super easy baby hat tutorial on the Sew, Mama, Sew! Handmade Holidays feature (hi everyone from there!). It’s by far the most popular post on this site and has a number of links to it around the interwebby. I’ve updated it a bit too so if you were holding back on making one, check it out and you might be more inspired. If you know any new babies this is a seriously easy one to make. And the recipient will think you’re really clever!

Gallery! (finally)
Ooh Ooh! I finally got my shit together and got my gallery sorted. It all happened because my beloved was gently hassling me last night about fixing another part of the site and I was like ‘no! if I’m fixing anything on the site, it’s my bloody gallery’.
So I’ve done it.
It’s only cross stitch and embroidery so all my other little distractions won’t make it in there.
I must say it is exciting to put everything in one place. Despite cross stitch being a very very slow craft, I have managed to finish a lot of stuff (although not the first thing I started sshhh).
Now I have even more reason to finish things

I have finally finished moving over from the old wordpress.com site. Well, almost. I still have a gallery to build, but will get to that soon.
I would love to hear your feedback on this site. I’ve changed quite a number of things from the old one. Including creating the links page. And I’ve started re-writing the Radical Cross Stitch info page.
